We regularly have situations where we need to comp someone a ticket, but there isn't a straightforward way for us to simply assign that person a complimentary ticket. Right now, we have to work around this using discount codes and the normal ticket checkout process. I’d like to be able to open an existing contact, select the event and ticket type, and assign them a complimentary ticket directly. Ideally, we could also do this while creating or editing a transaction. This would be especially helpful for VIPs, sponsors, special guests, staff, and other attendees who aren't purchasing their own tickets.

When a supporter’s transaction fails, they may not realize their payment was unsuccessful unless the organization contacts them directly. Request: Automatically send an email notification to supporters when their transaction fails, letting them know the payment was unsuccessful and prompting them to take any necessary next steps.

And the use case would be: allow an organization to show a different thank-you message on subsequent recurring receipts, such as “Thank you for being a monthly supporter,” without needing to send a second Engage email. This would help with limiting over communication

Allow for partial refunds, for example refunding a ticket purchase while leaving a donation.

When a supporter signs up using an email address that already exists in the CRM, Givebutter should prevent a new contact from being created even if the name is different. Currently, contact matching requires both a matching name and a matching email or phone number, which causes duplicate contacts when family members or household members sign up using the same email with different names. Organizations that primarily communicate via email find it unhelpful to have multiple contacts sharing the same email address.

We can create relationships between contacts in Givebutter, but those relationships don't currently help us when managing tickets. If I already have a couple or household connected in the CRM, I'd like Givebutter to surface those related contacts when I'm assigning tickets rather than requiring me to find and assign every person individually. Ideally, I could quickly see the other members of a household, assign their tickets, and keep the group connected throughout attendee and seating management while still maintaining separate contact records.

Option to have an additional button for just donations when creating an Event that also uses tickets or RSVPs.
