Organizations need the ability to exclude specific contacts or groups when building an audience for Engage emails and other communications. For example, users should be able to select a broad audience and then exclude contacts, specifically using their saved segments. Without exclusion filters, organizations may need to manually modify lists or create complicated workarounds. This creates a significant risk of sending irrelevant or duplicate messages, particularly during high-volume campaigns.

We would like the ability to send an Engage email directly to one individual contact without first creating a tag, segment, or other audience containing that person. Currently, sending a one-off email through Engage requires extra steps to isolate the individual as an audience. This creates unnecessary friction for simple, personalized outreach. Ideally, users could open a contact record and select an option such as “Send Engage Email”, then compose or select an existing template and send it directly to that contact. This would be especially useful for organizations like ROAR that occasionally need to send personalized follow-ups to individual donors, attendees, sponsors, or auction participants while keeping the communication within Givebutter.

Ability to select email recipients without using the filter - ie: send an email to one donor

Add a field in the Tags editor for a "Description" that appears as a tool tip when you hover over tags (while reading or assigning them). This way, users can remember which tag is what when they have a couple that have similar (but different) purposes.

Allow users to export reports for all SMS/text messages sent through Engage within a selected date range (e.g., the past 12 months), rather than having to open and export each message individually. This would make it much easier to review and analyze historical SMS performance.

Ability to use the link of the sign-up widget and add it to a blog post or in the email.

Option to add merge tags for auction details, such as retail value, item name, etc.

The current Signup Form widget include name and contact information. Please include the option to add custom fields to these forms.

It would be great to be able to email Team Members dynamic updates using merge tags, such as "You've raised $XYZ on your campaign so far- keep up the great work!"

When a Canva design is uploaded to an Engage email, it currently comes in as a static image, so any clickable links in the original design are lost. It would be great if multiple links from a Canva design could carry over directly into the email editor. This would make custom designs fully interactive and reduce extra steps for donors.
