Notify organizations in real time when an outage or known issue may impact an active auction or live event. An auction user shared feedback after experiencing bidding issues during their live event on 5/19. Bidders’ phones froze while they tried to place bids, causing confusion during the event and requiring staff to step in and assist bidders directly. The user asked whether Givebutter can notify organizations with active auctions when an outage or known issue may affect their event. Since live auctions are time-sensitive and rely on real-time bidder participation, proactive communication could help organizations respond quickly, set expectations with guests, and reduce confusion during the event.

When a donor makes a gift in honor/memory of someone, it would be helpful for the account admins to be notified so they can quickly follow up as needed (without running an export).

Make customers aware of transaction disputes and the scenario surrounding the dispute, rather than relying on the customer to review the Transactions page.

The ability to edit the subject line, body text, and schedule of recurring donation reminders, so organizations can provide donors with a more personalized, branded experience.

An email would be sent to a donor prior to a recurring donation being processed.

Users get an email when a recurring donation fails, but they do not get one when that transaction ultimately succeeds. As the dashboard only shows the initial bill date, this will help log the real date the transaction was processed.

Notify the donor and admin via email in anticipation of the recurring payment method expiring.

Ability to assign specific permissions to users per campaign.
