Households are a way of organizing constituents into relationship-based groups. This can be especially helpful to acknowledge more than one person (such as a couple) for a donation. Features associated with households Connecting separate contacts into one “group” Ability for households to have different last names Mark what the relationship between contacts is (ex. Spouse, mother, sibling, etc.) Need to be able to designate between titles (Ex. Dr. Butter and Mrs. Butter) Head of household v. member of household (can be helpful to determine what order to address people in, for example when addressing a physical mailing)
Report donations in preferred timezone
Report donations made in the preferred timezone under account settings rather than in UTC for reporting purposes.
Sort Contacts by last name
First and last name are kept track of as separate entries per Contact, so it would be great to be able to sort Contacts by last name. Currently, sorting by name sorts by first name only.
Admin ability to Exchange Tickets
The ability for admins to initiate exchanging one ticket type for another OR to credit a donation amount towards a ticket purchase if a donor made an error.
Allow donors to access a log of their giving history
Possibly in their donor profile - records of all giving history across Givebutter
Automatic, recurring transaction reports
The ability to enable automatic and recurring transaction reports executed to admin inboxes.
Ability to use Square card reader for in person payments
Add support for the Square reader in addition to the Stripe M2 reader.
Letters & Mailings
Design and print direct mail pieces like solicitations and acknowledgments in batches for quick fulfillment.
Add an offline donation inside a Contact
The ability to navigate to the Contact and record an Offline Donation. Since admins already have the ability to add an email and phone number in the Contact, this feature allows them to add an Offline Donation with those fields auto-populated plus the ability to add a Note which will populate in the Timeline Activity.
