On October 1, 2026, we brought together thousands of changemakers for our biggest product launch event yet. This year's theme was Co-Create, because every feature below started with a nonprofit telling us what was getting in the way.

Givebutter Magic

is a suite of responsible AI features built throughout Givebutter—not another disconnected tool to learn. It helps you get past the blank page, make smarter fundraising decisions, and find the answers hiding in your data.

Go from a blank page to a branded, ready-to-edit campaign draft in minutes. Givebutter uses your website to suggest your story, images, and fundraising goal, giving you a stronger place to start.

Start with an informed, ambitious fundraising goal based on what similar organizations and campaigns have raised. You can also turn on stretch goals to keep the momentum going.

Replace one-size-fits-all donation tiers with suggested amounts informed by your campaign type, cause, device, and fundraising across Givebutter.

Securely connect Givebutter to ChatGPT or Claude. Ask questions about your fundraising data, analyze past campaigns, and build new workflows with your existing Givebutter permissions in place.

See the full story of every supporter in one clearer profile. A simpler activity feed, AI-powered summary, and recommended next steps bring the most important context to the top, while speech-to-text notes make it easy to capture what happened right after a conversation. The redesigned profile is also available in the free Givebutter mobile app.

Describe the supporters you want to find and Givebutter builds the filter for you. “Who gave last year but hasn’t given again?” is now a search, not a spreadsheet project.

Reporting

Start with rich, ready-made reports covering fundraising, donor retention, recurring giving, marketing performance, and more. Magic-powered custom reports are coming soon, so you’ll be able to describe what you want to see and let Givebutter build the report.

Track every Spend Card purchase automatically. Upload a receipt and Givebutter Magic verifies that it matches the transaction, giving you a clearer picture of where your organization’s money is going.

Our team handles the technical work of extracting your data from popular nonprofit platforms and mapping it into Givebutter’s import templates—for free. No rebuilding years of donor history by hand.

Email editor

Build polished emails with drag-and-drop content, brand controls, and templates designed for nonprofits. Givebutter Plus subscribers can also add fundraising blocks like live goal bars, auction items, tickets, and peer-to-peer leaderboards.

Video messages

Record and send a personal video from any contact profile. Thank a new donor, reconnect with a longtime supporter, or invite someone to an event with a custom call to action built into the message.

Give supporters one place to manage their relationship with your organization. They can view giving history and receipts, update recurring gifts, access event tickets, and manage their peer-to-peer fundraising—all in an experience branded to your organization.

Assign supporters to specific members of your team, so everyone knows who is responsible for each relationship.

Spend directly from your Wallet balance with a virtual or physical card, add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay, get cash from an ATM, and skip the wait for a bank transfer.

Accept checks from the Givebutter mobile app. Snap a photo, record the donation, and send the funds directly to Wallet—without a trip to the bank. The feature is rolling out to select customers now and will reach everyone in the coming weeks.

Wallet passes

Supporters can save event tickets to Apple Wallet, while organizers can see details like table seating and custom fields during check-in. Google Wallet support is coming soon.

Give supporters more control when plans change. From the donor portal, ticket holders can update guest details or reassign tickets themselves, saving your team from last-minute cleanup.

Capture the energy in the room—and every pledge—the moment it happens.

Keep auction bidding moving by extending the clock whenever a bid arrives near the deadline.

Let supporters submit private offers without seeing what anyone else has bid.

Create a new Wix website or connect one you already have to Givebutter. Add donation forms, buttons, email sign-ups, and more right in the Wix editor—no code required.

Bring volunteer activity into the same place as giving history. Volunteer sign-ups and service hours flow from POINT into Givebutter automatically, so you can see who gives time, who gives money, and who does both.

Givebutter Plus trial

Ahead of year-end giving season, every organization can explore the latest Plus features for 30 days—even if you have used a trial before. Start a new trial from your dashboard by the end of the year.

Seven self-guided playbooks went live right after the livestream, alongside in-person meetups in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Indianapolis, and Denver. Eligible organizations that submitted a short project video earned a $100 reward in their Givebutter Wallet.

Beyond the launches above, we shipped more than 1,000 improvements in 2026, many inspired directly by your feedback and votes on our public roadmap.

Most of these features are available now, just in time for year-end giving season. Mobile check acceptance is rolling out in the coming weeks, and Magic-powered custom reporting is coming soon.
