New Features
Wix integration
– The Givebutter app now installs directly into your Wix editor. Drag a donation block onto any page, connect it to a campaign, and publish — it picks up your site's fonts and colors on its own, with no embed code to paste or custom element to configure. Already built a donation widget in Givebutter? Reuse it instead of making a new one. And if you don't have a website yet, you can create one right from your Givebutter dashboard.
Compass
- Starting a fundraiser is exciting, but the road from signup to first donation can feel like a maze. Compass is our new in-dashboard guide that shows every new account their best next step, right when it matters. One clear, personalized suggestion at a time, from adding a cover photo to turning on recurring giving right after that first donation lands.Small nudges, big outcomes. That is the whole idea.
POINT contact sync
– Connect POINT and your volunteers flow into Givebutter as full contacts, with name, email, phone, address, and birthday, and every logged volunteer hour posting to their activity history. You choose how volunteers match against contacts you already have, so records merge instead of duplicating. Syncs automatically overnight, or on demand whenever you need it.
Contact archiving
– Archive contacts you're no longer actively working with, then bring them back whenever you need them. Archived contacts carry a clear indicator, so it's obvious which records are out of rotation.
Payout breakdown
– Open any payout from Wallet Activity or Payout History to see total raised, fees covered, and the payout breakdown by Campaign and Fund all in one place, so you can tell exactly where a deposit came from.
Payments balance summary
– Wallet now shows the payments balance available for payout alongside the funds still settling, so you can see what's coming without clicking into the Payouts tab.
Widget analytics
– Connect Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to your donation widgets and track donor behavior in the tools you already use.
Company pledges
– Create pledges for company contacts, with payments, receipts, and exports all crediting the company instead of an individual.
Declined purchase alerts
– When a Spend Card purchase is declined, the cardholder gets a text explaining why — card not activated, spend limit reached, or insufficient funds — and what to do next.
Per-campaign upsell control
– Turn the recurring donation upsell on or off for each campaign, instead of applying one setting across all of them.
Improvements
Fundraise
  • Donors who pause a recurring plan can now extend that pause instead of restarting it
  • The campaign video table has a consistent layout, with working controls, filters, and pagination
  • CRM
  • Integration sync status now appears directly on transactions, so you can see what synced and what didn't
  • The approval screen for connecting an AI assistant now spells out exactly what data that connection can read
Engage
  • Text sends now pace to each account's actual daily carrier limit, instead of one fixed cap applied to everyone
  • Events and Auctions
  • Fair market values on auction items can now be corrected while the auction is still running
Treasury
  • The payout history table is refreshed — rows are clickable, statuses are color-coded, instant payouts are labeled, and the arrival column shows the real posted date once a payout lands
  • Payouts moving into your Wallet appear in Pending under Recent Activity while they're in transit, instead of disappearing until they post
  • The Payments balance on the Wallet page is now labeled "Daily auto-transfer to Wallet," with a note that weekends, holidays, and reviews can delay a transfer
  • Pending card transactions now also appear in the card activity drawer, so the list of activity matches the total spent shown above it
  • Starting Wallet onboarding requires an SMS two-factor check, and prompts you to turn on two-factor if you haven't yet
  • QuickBooks syncs that fail because the accounting period is closed now say so, instead of leaving transactions stuck on "Ready to sync"
  • Two-factor confirmation is now required when inviting any user, not just Admins and Finance users
Growth
  • Ticket-level custom field answers, like an attendee's business name or website, now come through the ticket.created webhook and the public API ticket object, so you can map them into your integrations
Bug Fixes & Maintenance
We also shipped a wide range of fixes and behind-the-scenes updates, including:
  • Fixed workflows sending the "first donation" email to donors who had already given before
  • Fixed some workflow emails never sending even though the workflow reported the send as successful
  • Fixed a workflow branch step breaking when it used a Tags condition
  • Fixed saving a draft email whose scheduled send time had already passed sending it immediately
  • Hard bounces and spam complaints now unsubscribe the contact even if their primary email address changed after the send
  • One-click unsubscribes from Gmail and Yahoo now unsubscribe the recipient instead of being counted as bounces
  • Fixed Engage re-sending an email several times after a soft or temporary bounce, which had been inflating bounce counts
  • Fixed email edits being lost when the visual editor was reopened while a save was still running
  • Fixed the contacts "Contact Since" filter matching against the wrong date field, which could return contacts outside the range you selected
  • Fixed filtering contacts by a transaction custom field returning an empty list even when there were matches
  • Filters now match contacts who left a checkbox custom field unanswered
  • Fixed Smart Filters returning "Unable to generate filters" when asked about a contact's activity, email type, or phone type
  • Contact search now matches custom-field default values
  • Fixed a contact's birthday showing a day early on the Data Hygiene and Duplicates pages
  • Numeric contribution filters now apply correctly to message deliveries
  • Fixed custom report CSV exports sometimes downloading without column headers
  • Fixed transaction exports failing to arrive by email when a Frequency filter was applied
  • Fixed missing team-member names in custom reports for imported fundraisers
  • Fixed transaction imports failing on some rows with a generic "unknown error" when the row's campaign code and campaign title pointed to different campaigns
  • Fixed the import Transform tool marking rows as valid that would still fail on import
  • Contact imports are now idempotent, which reduces import errors and duplicate contacts
  • Fixed contacts failing to sync when they carried unusually long lists of email addresses or phone numbers
  • Fixed the Bloomerang integration creating duplicate contacts for recurring and offline donations, and its enable toggle not staying on
  • Bloomerang syncs now recover gracefully from an error instead of failing outright
  • Fixed AI assistant answers that could quietly go wrong — transaction status filters being ignored, which inflated totals with failed payments; help center searches with several keywords returning nothing; and sorting items by name doing nothing
  • Fixed checkout communication preferences so donor opt-outs are honored
  • Donor privacy choices are now preserved when the donation message step is skipped
  • Fixed dedication emails not reaching recipients because of an overaggressive duplicate check
  • Fixed manage-plan links expiring before the emailed link did, which blocked donors from updating their plans

  • Fixed donation minimum settings reverting after save
  • Fixed mismatched raised totals between a campaign page and the home page

  • Venmo is now correctly hidden in in-app browsers that don't support it
  • Resolved a campaign download prompt appearing in iOS Safari
  • The mobile Supporters tab is now hidden when the Supporter Feed is turned off
  • Fixed duplicating a campaign creating a separate copy of a ticket for every bundle it belonged to
  • Fixed dragging a guest onto a tablemate dropping a seat assignment or letting a table exceed capacity
  • Ticket quantities now refresh when a ticket is detached from the bundle side, so displayed counts match reality
  • Re-enabled event reminder emails to all ticket holders
  • Fixed bidder numbers from deleted bidder records blocking reassignment
  • Fixed the Auction button being cut off in the mobile auction navigation
  • Fixed text-to-donate links dropping iPhone users on a "join Givebutter" page when the short link couldn't resolve
  • Fixed transaction list prices shrinking to an unreadable size on iOS
  • Mobile device records are now cleared on password reset, so donation notifications stop going to the old device
  • Fixed an error when requesting notifications for a closed account
  • Members with limited access no longer receive member-joined notification emails
  • Fixed a dispute ledger issue that kept the payout export button from appearing on certain payouts
  • The card preview during card creation now shows the "Name on card" value instead of the cardholder's legal name, matching what gets printed
  • Fixed a negotiated-deal checkout crash caused by a line item with an unmapped price, and unmapped items are now reported instead of silently dropping the charge
