We have a membership application form set up as a campaign separate from our donation forms. For anyone signing up as a member and paying their membership fee it would be great to have them automatically tagged as members rather than us having to manually tag anyone who signs up.

Merged in a post:
Automatically group or tag donors based on certain criteria

Add the capability to group or tag donors if certain criteria are reached.
For example, when someone donates $100 within a certain date range they are now called "props sponsors" or anyone between $250-$500 in a certain time period is now called "Costume Sponsors".

Thank you for this Tori! Yes, I really want the ability to have a custom question with Boolean logic (yes/no) that if the person selects yes, we can add a tag to their account. And if they say no, we can add no tag or a different tag. This will be massively supportive.
Moreover, I’d love to add tags I create that say “major donor” if someone donates over $200 (or whatever I choose).
By adding tags to these types of interactions, I can use the tags in zapier conditions, which would be GAME CHANGING. If I can have a “if transaction/user has X tag THEN send them this email, or push them into a phone call thank you task in asana, or send them a letter through Handwrytten etc. It would dramatically improve our workflows.
My primary preference is the ability to add tags to a custom question yes/no answer. Our entire world opens from there and nurturing engagement based on our custom question becomes exponentially easier.

It would be great to have the system automatically tag auction bidders and auction winners with those tags so that they would receive any pre-written communications without the need to be manually tagged. Once the event starts, none of our staff has time to add the tag to each new bidder, which means they miss out on these communications, such as "One hour left!" or messages focusing on specific items to drive up bids.

I just uploaded 155 donors from our ED's tracking sheet. I was able to mark one of the columns as "Tags" so I would mark the month of their yearly renewal. I would have given anything to select "tag all as" so I didnt have to do it 20 at a time. Thanks!
