Refunds as Separate Transactions in Activity Feed

I would like to request a feature where refunds appear as separate transactions in the donor's activity feed. Currently, when a refund is processed, the original transaction's status changes to 'Refunded,' but no new refund transaction is created. Having refunds show up as separate transactions would provide clearer visibility and tracking for both donors and administrators.

I think the current CSV export format does not follow generally accepted U.S. accounting practices. It combines original transactions and refunded amounts into a single line without showing the refund as a separate financial event.
- Forces accountants to guess, risking misstated revenue
- Causes development, fundraising, marketing, and operations teams to overstate total amounts
- Creates audit exposure
- Shifts liability to the organization, not the platform
I'd appreciate this to be fixed as soon as possible.
