Would really appreciate any update on this. This is so vital to our organization!

We need a response from Givebutter on this function. Our organization has been waiting for 4 years, others more than 5 years. If this function will not be fixed please advise so we can make accommodations. Donors use old, saved links inadvertently and the donation is applied to the wrong campaign. We have recurring donations from multiple expired campaigns that we need to move to our recurring donations campaign. The online donations application does not allow recurring donations to be applied to the campaign we want to apply it to only to the current campaign. We need to ability to move these transactions to the proper campaign account. This requires us to make manual corrections to our accounting records because we are unable to fix it in Givebutter. The result is that Givebutter and our accounting records are never in sync.

Is it true that this has been requested for over 5 years and "in progress" since March 2024 and it's still not implemented? We just had this issue come up and thought "of course they have a way to do that!" How can you not?

Yes! This is so needed. We have people that regularly make donations using the general button on our site, but they intend it for a particular fund. And the donation and their personal comment GO NOWHERE. Are not seen. We really need the ability to reassign that donation to that particular fundraiser and not just leave it hidden in the GENERAL pool. Thanks!

For events that live outside of Givebutter, we use the Givebutter campaign feature to send a personalized payment link with a predetermined amount, personalized message, etc. To then move it into the overarching campaign is critical for financial reporting, revenue coding, etc. Absolutely necessary for donor stewardship and admin control.

Agree with Kelsey...This IS a huge issue. It's also bizarre that you can reassign a credit card transaction to a totally different person, but not to a different campaign.

Please implement this ASAP! Just had to refund donations today since we couldn't move/reassign them to a current campaign.
