Household-level reporting and easier household management
Kyle Balitos
The user wants to run reports based on combined household giving, rather than individual donor transactions.
Currently, households can only be filtered in the Contacts tab, and there is no easy way to aggregate transactions across household members for reporting. This makes it difficult to group donors by giving levels (for example $100–499, $500–999, $1,000+) using household totals.
Because the organization has been growing, the user does not always know who belongs in the same household. Some household members have different last names or donate separately, which makes manual tracking cumbersome.
Improved household management and household-level reporting would make donor recognition and reporting significantly easier.

This is so key and has kept me from going all the way in with Givebutter. Who has the discretionary income? Older Married folks. Who might be more old fashioned and want to be addressed as a couple rather than individuals - older married folks. As it stands if I were to run a LYBUNT query, I'd be reaching out to lots of people who's households already gave but they aren't marked primary - super embarrassing.

Householding is key to our fundraising - we always want to acknowledge the household instead of the individual in communications.
