I like the idea of this feature, but I've seen it poorly implemented so many times.
What will happen to customers whose names are like "McClellan" or "de Rosa" or companies that have stylized names like "C/O iTech Inc." ?

Yes. I was recently frustrated because several (form)letters were printed with mixed up case street names... it looked very unprofessional. I had to change the original records and re-generate the mail merge. This was time consuming.

It would also be helpful if in the payments like the last name auto capitalizes, if the first name would also do that. When taking a payment on IPhone or otherwise.

Yes! Otherwise when contacts are merged, their addresses are duplicated. Usually for a capital/lowercase difference. This makes for a messy contact base which we are dealing with.
