Link Facebook fundraisers

Adding the ability to link a Facebook fundraiser directly to a campaign would be amazing! That way we wouldn’t have to manually update our transactions

I know DonorDrive links directly to Facebook fundraising. I just used this platform for a walk I was involved in and it was amazing. Fundraising on Meta and trying to keep posts engaged and active with their algorithm and not using Facebook fundraising is so much more challenging.

How does Facebook Fundraising Sync work and is it open now

Would be nice to have reporting come into Givebutter so we could benefit from the FB/IG platform integration, but still run through our own workflows using Givebutter to track everything coming in.

The fundraising platform I use for work allows us to do that and it's incredible and increasing funds raised. Such a bummer we can't do that here.

Interesting idea - the thing is, FB giving is a lot easier than GiveButter in that as long as you have a FB account (which you would if you see the birthday fundraiser), giving is pretty much a one-click affair, and there are no fees for either the donor or the charity.
You could create a FB post that includes a link to a specific campaign in GiveButter, which could have the same effect as what you suggested

Yep! Literally the challenge we face each year with Giving Tuesday. People love setting up the Facebook fundraisers, but it's so difficult to track on the back end...
