We've launched Email and SMS templates for Engage!
When you are creating a new message, you'll see an option to "Start with template" and can choose from one of our Email or SMS templates as a starting point for your message.

Jesse Saldana: This is a great start, but it does not encompass everything that people have mentioned in this thread. Newsletter templates are much more engaging and dynamic. All of the templates you have are very "one note". Kait and Kelly both noted wanting the ability to move blocks around - that is precisely it. As well as having different types of blocks (combo text and photo, etc.).
Also, the header thing looks very odd - doesn't match with the rest of the emails.
The ability to have template emails would be nice too - we know that there is an automatic receipt, but many places like to send an additional acknowledgement and having the ability to have those pre-done would be nice. It would also be helpful if we didn't have to manually input when an email is sent to a contact. If it's sent through GiveButter it should automatically be tracked there as well.
I love many of the features GiveButter offers, but unfortunately we can't make a complete switch while so many of these features are still lacking. Hoping maybe somewhere down the line we'll be able to make the full switch.

I too would like to see pre built templates that can be customized, along with the ability to create my own template, move and format blocks and templates like you can in other platforms such as runsignup.com , ticketsignup.io, networkforgood.com, and MailChimp. It would also be nice to have pre built templates can customize based on event invitation, campaigns, newsletters, appeal, thank you's, and updates.
Thank you so much for everything you do!

I use another platform for emails that provides a variety of templates, Givebutter should do the same. The way Engage works now is not the most creative (sorry!)
