This is a real sticking point with Givebutter for us - the inability to edit each thank you note is really a deal breaker for bringing all of our snail mail donations over. We don't want to use the mailing feature, we are small and it does not make financial sense and our ED likes to sign each one with a personal note.

We print our acknowledgments via mail merge in Word. Since this is not an option (surprisingly), we are reluctant to upgrade and are considering another donor CRM. Other than that, we enjoy the platform and find it fairly simple to use.

This would also allow us to edit the date... which is more practical since the letters might be printed on Friday but not mailed till Tuesday due to lack of manpower (many nonprofits run a very tight ship). Thanks!
