Allow users to change the trigger of an existing or duplicated workflow without having to recreate the workflow from scratch.
Use Case:
A customer has an existing workflow that sends a customized thank-you email to first-time donors for their Support the Atlanta Boy Choir campaign. They want to send the same email to all donors, including recurring donors.
The email contains a banner and rotating photos originally created by someone else, and the customer no longer has access to those original assets.
Currently, duplicating the workflow doesn't allow the customer to change its trigger. They must create a new workflow and manually reuse the saved email template through the legacy editor.
Requested Functionality:
Allow users to edit workflow triggers or select a different trigger when duplicating a workflow, while preserving the existing email content, design, and other workflow actions.
This would make it easier to reuse existing workflows for different audiences without rebuilding them.
