Agreed! I love that we can control it in some capacity but it does not hold across the site. I've had to set it to appear on certain pages that get the highest traffic so that each visitor is likely to encounter it. However, this means these most visited pages could be triggered more than once which can be frustrating.

I've also have had the widget stop the loading functioning of a page so unless the visitor is savy and knows how to manually reload a page, could result in a lost interested person. Site Host (SquareSpace)

The user would like to control how often a pop-up sign-up form widget is displayed, since showing it again on every page reload can disrupt the visitor experience and discourage site traffic. The best example is the screenshot shared above.
