I agree! Being able to set a mailed receipt when inputting or checking a transaction would be great. I am doing this in a roundabout way with the engage tool but having this more accessible would be super helpful.

This is VERY important to us... but we'd like the option to mail a donation thank you letter even if there is an email address.

Yes, this is absolutely necessary, we have donors who are elderly and still pay by check and do not prefer to use email or cannot use email, they still need to be acknowledged, this would minimize the additional steps needed to get them their tax or event receipts.
