I run the childrens medical fund of ny and we pre-sell raffles and journal ads. It would be helpful if i could sell them as an “item” and not a “ticket”, so that when someone purchases these items it shows up in my data as an item and not a person. It would also help for tax purposes on the purchases end.

I had to Zeffy because it had this feature. We were selling Christmas wreaths and poinsettias from a local farm as a fundraiser. They allow listing products on a website, but Givebutter didn't have the feature. I ended up using Zeffy and exporting/importing the transactions and contacts, but it was a pain.
This would be so much better to have a store, plus it opens the door to sell merch and other items.

We also want the ability to sell items through the mobile app. Retail items should be in categories, and we could then choose a category to sell in the app. This would be great for in-person sales, even when there's no event. The app already has Sell Tickets, and can do Tap To Pay or connect to a card reader. On our websites, add another choice to the top navigation that we can rename. You can even reuse the ticket functionality, and just replace the ticket with a receipt, and turn off collecting guest names.

Good idea 💡

Ability to use the auction section as a Buy Now–only store. Specifically: the option to rename the “Auction” tab (e.g., to “Store”) and hide bidder registration when no bidding is used. This would make Buy Now items much clearer for our users.

User feedback: Allow renaming the “Auction” tab to custom labels like “Catalog”
Some campaigns use the Auction feature for buy-it-now or catalog-style fundraising rather than traditional auctions. Currently, the “Auction” tab label is fixed and cannot be renamed, which can be confusing for supporters when the campaign is not actually an auction.
It would be very helpful to allow organizers to customize the tab name (for example, “Catalog,” “Shop,” or “Opportunities”) so the campaign experience better matches their fundraising strategy and messaging.

I really want to sell items on Givebutter rather than a separate store. Having the "upsell" of a donation afterwards is perfect.

Agree! This would be super helpful for my small nonprofit clients to keep all online transactions in one place instead of navigating Wix Stores, Paypal, etc. Example would be a local historical society selling books about their town... part profit, part fundraising, but products instead of event tickets.

We (our PTSO) would also like to be able to sell merchandise through Givebutter, with a dedicated area just for this vs. using tickets or donations as a workaround.
