We want to sell merch on GB, but currently our best option is by way of a ticketed events, creating tickets for each merch item. Downside? Our supporters receive two emails with tickets in both of them. REALLY wish this could be updated. if you can't provide a sales/merch page, at the very least, give us a toggle on/off option so that we can choose to not send tickets. Thanks!

Yes! We need the ability to sell some branded merchandise to volunteers and fans!

We want to be able to sell books, drinks, posters, and more merch and would love to use GB so that everything is under one app. (Especially if they want to give us a donation with their purchase.)
If we sell items through GB, the process should allow us to specify whether to charge (or eat) the sales tax on merch -- and give us a report on collected sales tax when needed. It should either let us specify the tax rate (or know it based on our location).
Merch sales should optionally link back to a contact and send an email receipt, but allow for anonymous purchases.

This would be very useful for us. We do occasional pop-up used book sales to raise money and do not treat those transactions as donations, so being able to convert the ticket sales function to sell any kind of items (e.g. used books) would be very helpful.

Yes, please!

This functionality exists on Zeffy, and it's a feature that's useful enough to make us consider switching platforms. It would be great to be able to manage ALL financial transactions in a single platform.

Reminder to add read me/help text to “are you sure you want to switch” messaging:
- When switching from tickets to items, make sure to mention that private event details (such as a zoom link) will not be sent in email receipt.
- When switching from items to tickets, make sure to mention that purchaser will be required to enter first and last name and email for each ticket.
Additional development enhancements:
- Ability to use checkbox next to last name field to use same last name (as purchaser) to avoid retyping
- Ability to use checkbox next to email field to use same email (as purchaser) and language is used to explain to ensure purchaser knows they will need to send digital tickets to their guest.
Business case:
Most Children don’t have email and if they do their parents will control the distribution of a ticket for an event.
