I'm in the same situation as Elizabeth. This seems to deter event registrations for us.

Just checking to see if this issue is being remedied? We're hosting a virtual event and would love to use Givebutter as the event hub where they can RSVP, get the link and make donations. I tried to set it up as a free ticket but even without requiring a credit card it was still asking for billing information which I think will deter our donors. Is there a timeline for when this might be updated?

Even with Require Billing Info disabled, there's still a red asterisk that implies the billing info is required. It would be great if that whole section didn't appear for free tickets.

The ability to remove the one-dollar minimum for event registration, and Make it so event registration only asks for contact details one time. [Edited 7/5/23 - there is not a minimum amount for registration events; looks like this was a specific account setting that needed to be adjusted]

This would be so helpful for us! We currently don't use Givebutter for free Member events just because we don't want people to have to enter contact info twice. :)

Don't make the email address a required field for all guests to an event. Just require it for the person registering the team.

Allow event invitees to RSVP yes or no (with optional donations), rather than buy tickets for an event.

Separate Donation Form from RSVP Form - we don't want to ask for a donation until our live event, so having just an RSVP to record attendance would be helpful.
