Yes, PLEASE allow donors to set a start/end date. I've been asked this question by THREE donors in the last 24 hours. This is a potential deal breaker for us. Donors need this flexibility. It looks like this has been a request since 2021. How can we move this up the pipeline?

This would be great - especially if the organization could enter the end date as well. A big help for pledges!

Also give them information when they select a period that says they can make x installments, for example:
"Divide my total into X payments". A formula then calculates installments and populates with :"Automatically charge my card X Dollars every (whatever installment period is) until the entire amount is paid off.

This would be a very helpful enhancement.

It would be very helpful for donors who want to set up a recurring donation, that they can actually select which date in the month they want the donation charged. It would also be helpful to allow donors to modify this date in the interface where they can edit their other donor information with the link they receive when they receive their acknowledgment.

This would be such a huge help with moving recurring supporters over to Givebutter. Right now, donors either have to decide if they will give twice (on the old and on Givebutter) or try to remember to set up Givebutter the next month.

Hi Kate Hendrick, Tori with Givebutter here! Does your legacy platform use Stripe as a payment processor? We offer the ability to migrate/import existing recurring plans to Givebutter from an existing Stripe account at no additional cost, so your donors don't experience any interruption in giving.
Kate Hendrick
Tori Meglio: Thank you for the information, but we weren't using Stripe prior to this.
Tori Meglio
Kate Hendrick: Certainly, our team is here to help. Thanks for sharing that you currently aren't using Stripe. Do you mind sharing what processor you are using? I could then record your interest in migrating recurring payments from that platform.
Kate Hendrick
Tori Meglio: We were using Network for Good which had the payment processor built in.

Thanks for the information Kate Hendrick, additionally I've recorded your interest in the ability to migrate Recurring Donors from an existing Network for Good account. You'll be alerted by email when either of these feature requests are under review, planned or deployed.

I just converted over and want to communicate with current recurring donors, but NEED them to be able to select the same transaction date as they have now and don't want to burden them with trying to coordinate on the specific date for them to cancel their current process and switch to the new one on the day I tell them they have to do it...not doing it. So, my donors will not be able to leave the givebutter tip until this feature is functioning. Any idea how far away we are?
