Provide an option to have the “Edit Processing Fee” section expanded/open by default at checkout, so donors immediately see they can adjust the fee.

People with bad vision, not computer savvy, and not used to clicking multiple times on a page....do find this extra step cumbersome and not obvious. Many of our users are 70+ and have asked how to make processing fee removal more obvious.

Yes please! This has caused some negative feedback. It needs to be blaring so that the donor does not feel taken advantage of.
