Gift in-kind donations
Hamilton Families
Ability to host a gift in-kind (GIK) goods donation platform, whether by linking to an Amazon wish list or some other online marketplace. Many nonprofits lack capacity and are not able to accept and distribute physically donated goods this year due to the pandemic. A platform, similar to Amazon wish lists, allowing donors to purchase items on a fundraising campaign and then sent to a custom address without the donor knowing it would save us tens of thousands of dollars in coordination, space rental, and security during the holiday season.

I have a Festival of Trees event coming up and would like a form for people to fill out with their items they are donating. Maybe even a way for them to add pictures. A fair market value line would be a must a s well.

Also be able to add transactions of in-kind donations. We receive them from corporate sponsors and need a way to add them as a donation and send them donation receipt Etc

Yes, agreed! We have so many opportunities to accept gifts in-kind. Having donors' access to submit their gift's information and photos for approval by GB account admin user would save so many hours of communication outside GB to collect that info.. Also when the GIK is accepted/approved, a receipt for the GIK donor (just like a monetary donor) is an essential feature too!

Also add the ability to track used in-kind gifts as well. For the number of donations given to be linked to the number received. That way if we would record giving a crib, it would automatically subtract the number we have in stock.
Nonprofits need to track any in kind donations received, estimate the value, and record number of in-kind donations used in the program. It's a way of judging the program cost.
