I strongly suggest A/B testing this. At least 85% of our donors are on mobile, and having them click a donate button just to see the donate form when they are intentionally coming to our donate page to make a donation seems silly. But I imagine the product team had a reason for this workflow originally, so let's just A/B test it. Worth noting: the donation form is always visible on desktop: no need to hit a donate button first.
