Use case: Event organizers often encounter situations where a supporter originally makes a donation because they cannot attend an event, but later their plans change, and they would like to attend after all.
Currently, there is no way to convert an existing donation into tickets or apply the donation amount toward a ticket/table purchase. This creates friction for both organizers and donors, especially when sponsorship benefits or attendee details are already involved.
Requested functionality:
• Ability to convert donations into tickets or table purchases
• Ability to apply an existing donation amount as credit toward tickets/tables
• Ability to preserve attendee information and sponsorship benefits during the conversion process

KK Additionally, it would be good to be able to convert a ticket purchase into a donation. If someone has already bought a ticket to the event but can no longer attend, they might want it to be considered a donation instead of getting a refund or not being able to get the full tax deduction.

Yes, I would also like to have this feature. We just recently encountered this where someone purchased a ticket, but was unable to attend at the last minute and wanted to make it a donation.
