This would be really helpful, where donors would be able to select a “pledge” option through a form or page. And then the form would switch to collecting donations at the set deadline and pledgers would get an automatic reminder to complete their pledge

Yes! Finding a database and transaction platform that can manage a pledge and ongoing payments on that pledge feels impossible -this would be amazing!
