🎉 We’re excited to announce the launch of our new Mobile Access Role!
This user role allows you to control who can access your account specifically on the Givebutter mobile app, and what they can see or do once they’re logged in. This makes it easy to equip on-site staff and volunteers with the tools they need during an event, without exposing sensitive data or advanced dashboard functionality.
Mobile access is granted separately from dashboard roles (such as Admin or CRM Manager), but uses the same campaign access rules – access can be restricted to specific campaigns.
Admins can choose between Full Access (no restrictions) and Limited Access, which hides certain areas like Transactions, Contacts, Auctions, and donation notifications.
Admins can invite Mobile access users in three different places:
- Dashboard Settings > Users > Invite User
- Dashboard Campaign > Event > Mobile Access > Invite User
- Mobile App > Campaign Selection > Invite Staff

I would love to know when this kiosk feature is completed. Even when made campaign editors, they can log in online and see financial totals. The kiosk function would also be great if there was a way to see if the ticket hadn't been paid for yet. if the mobile app could also flag that also, it'd be great!

Yes! This would be awesome. The admin role is way too broad for a role that is just scanning a ticket at the door
