Allow for gifts to go to a general anonymous contact (without the need to select a specific contact), with the goal of allowing for quick donations or item sales.

It's misleading that there is a "Show as anonymous" option in the app, but then the donor's full name still shows up in the supporter feed.

There are times when a donor wants to give us a quick donation and not hassle with giving us their name and email address. They just want to swipe and go and we don't want to delay them.
Right now, we have a fake contact called "Anonymous Contact" but we still have to select that contact while using the mobile app to complete the donation. This slows things down.

Our organization would like all donations be listed as anonymous donations.
By adding in Settings, under the Design tab, "Hide Donation Amounts" those that need this option can easily set it up when creating the event or campaign, and will not have to worry about unhappy donors that missed an anonymous option, as many do. Thank You so much!!

Anonymous donations will be important to our campaigns, and most donors will be on mobile. Donating anonymously (at least on par with web-based option) is a must-have for mobile.

Larry Hastings: Hi Larry! Thanks for your sharing about your situation! Good news for you: Your donors who give on their mobile devices do already have the option to choose to be anonymous! Your donors won't need to download an app and can give directly from your campaign page on their mobile device, with all the same options as they would have at their computer.
This feature request is specifically for donors who give using a card reader or tap-to-pay via our admin-only app.

Kait Cogswell: thank you Kait! That's good to know. And I look forward to the anonymous card-reader feature - we will be implementing a card reader for give-butter ticketing next season.

some people truly want to be anonymous and won't give otherwise
