We are typically operating in at least 5 different languages for our programs and fundraising activities. On our own site, we can make this easy to navigate (and prevent people for other languages to scroll through the page but simply click on their language and see everything in their own language). This easy navigation does not seem possible, even if we would write the copy in the different languages. The workaround would be to only make the widget part of a on our site with the copy that is easy to navigated. However, that widget would show up in English-only rather than their own language. For many that will be confusing. Furthermore, the widget itself is also in English-only (it could not be build showing different languages).

In short, it currently seems that using Givebutter in other languages than English is not really workable. It would be great if Givebutter could work on a simple language 'toggle' for the widget and, ideally, 'buttons' so copy could be made available for the story-line and confirmation messages in different languages.

It seems this topic is pending already for over two years. I hope it can be implemented soon since our work (with the use of Givebutter) can not really move forward witout

We'd like the ability to give the system buttons 'alias' names. That way we can translate into whatever language(s) are needed.
