🎉 Feature of the Month
Spend Cards
– Virtual and physical spend cards make it easy to pay for subscriptions, supplies, and event purchases directly from your Givebutter Wallet. Enriched merchant data adds logos, normalized merchant names, and contact info to Wallet transactions, so it's easier to recognize where money went at a glance.
New Features
Contact Owners
– Assign an owner to any contact, filter the contacts table by owner (including a new "My Contacts" segment), and assign or remove owners in bulk.
Separate Donate and Register buttons
– Peer-to-peer and recurring fundraising pages now show distinct Donate and Register buttons, so supporters can go straight to the action they want instead of one combined button.
Magic Account Settings
– When setting up a new account, Givebutter scrapes your organization's website and suggests a tagline, mission statement, social links, logo, cover image, and theme color — review and accept the suggestions directly from account settings.

  • Reorder saved lists with new "Move up / Move down" buttons instead of dragging
  • Global Search now finds contacts by secondary email address, not just primary

Growth
  • Public Contacts API now supports filtering by email, first name, and last name
  • The campaign publish button now prompts payouts setup instead of being disabled, giving a clear next step toward going live
  • Monthly Plus plans now show a monthly billing option at upgrade instead of defaulting to annual
  • Magic Campaign Creator now waits for site scraping to finish before generating a draft, producing more accurate campaigns
Bug Fixes & Maintenance
We also shipped a wide range of fixes and behind-the-scenes updates, including:

  • Fixed Engage email spacing issues, including paragraph spacing not reflecting in previews or sent emails and advanced emails showing different spacing and columns once sent
  • Fixed workflow email content incorrectly reverting to template placeholder text instead of the organization's saved email body
  • Fixed a race condition where contacts occasionally missed workflow enrollment when a ticket purchase and email subscription happened in the same second
  • Fixed workflows failing to save with a validation error when adding or editing task steps
  • Fixed intermittent Contacts page custom field filter failures where "include all of" picklist selections returned no results
  • Fixed date range custom field filters on the Contacts page not correctly applying include/exclude logic
  • Fixed campaign information not displaying correctly on the Transactions page
  • Fixed the transaction export selection count showing 0 rows and exports not following the current table view
  • Fixed column sorting on the Transactions page having no effect
  • Restored parent organizations' ability to see their chapters' transactions after a backend search migration
  • Supporter counts now correctly follow a recurring plan's current campaign after the plan is reassigned

  • The Associated Companies column on the contacts list shows the company again instead of appearing blank
  • Fixed auction item imports failing validation more often than they should, including rejecting a "0.00" buy-now price
  • Soft Credit imports now catch invalid Transaction Reference Numbers
  • Fixed missing ticket numbers and QR codes in receipt emails for affected event tickets
  • Fixed campaign share email links opening a blank tab when no mail client is configured
  • Fixed required ticket custom fields not rendering during bundle checkout, which had blocked payment with no visible input
  • Fixed ticket checkout previews so active custom fields render correctly after archived duplicates are cleaned up
  • Fixed a Mobile Safari layering bug that hid cart drawer controls behind the backdrop
  • Fixed P2P join links so invitees can open the fundraiser signup flow even when the public fundraiser button is disabled
  • Fixed sold-out bundle tickets showing as live when their direct inventory was already exhausted
  • Campaign stories now show a clear 50,000-character limit instead of silently dropping edits on save
  • Corrected a campaign status mismatch that showed active campaigns as inactive in dashboard lists
  • Fixed a long-standing bug where webhooks created through the public API were saved without a signing secret, which had left customers unable to verify incoming payloads
  • Fixed the Public Contacts API not updating email/phone type values on update requests (e.g., sending "personal" was returned as "work")
  • WebP images can now be uploaded to campaigns; they were previously rejected with an error
  • Annual Plus renewal reminder emails no longer send to accounts with a pending cancellation
  • Restored the legacy register and join buttons in team fundraising sections so older campaign instructions continue to work correctly
  • Cleaned up mobile ticket bundle details for bundles with more than 5 tickets (spacing, sizing, and paging)

  • Fixed missing winner names in the auction item fulfillment tab
  • Auction item "sold" counts now decrement when transactions are deleted, so admins can extend items and declare winners again after removing offline payments
  • Resolved a bidder verification mismatch that blocked a verified user from placing auction bids
  • Fixed a bidder status mismatch where the mobile app showed "needs payment information" for a bidder the dashboard showed as registered
  • Digital ticket details now render correctly in receipts for events not hosted on Givebutter
  • The first ACH recurring charge now triggers the standard "new recurring donation started" notification email
  • Team member fundraisers now receive notification emails for donations credited to them, even without a manual subscription
  • Fixed recurring donations failing during auction checkout when paying with a saved payment method on mobile
  • Fixed paused recurring plans being charged for the current cycle, and corrected the resume messaging shown to donors
  • Fixed auction item descriptions showing raw HTML codes (like apostrophes and ampersands) in the mobile app
  • Hardened mobile two-factor authentication so expired or orphaned challenge tokens are rejected instead of causing a server error
  • Fixed Tap to Pay on Fund-a-Need auction items creating duplicate, unpaid winner records that triggered incorrect "Awaiting Payment" emails to guests who had already paid in person
  • Fixed QuickBooks showing "nothing to sync" for accounts with a single balance despite having pending transactions
  • Fixed payout confirmation emails failing to send for organizations with a single balance and no campaign association
  • Fixed QuickBooks integrations silently disconnecting without notifying the user
  • Rolled out an additional SMS two-factor authentication security check to all users
