Some of our tickets include taxable items, and others (like merch) are entirely taxable. Would be great for reports and other reasons to specify a taxable amount for the ticket, show that as an extra charge to the customer upon checkout (based on their location), and give us reports at the end of the year.

Any update on when we will be able to start adding sales tax to auction items?

We need this for ticket sales as well - they're not tax-exempt in our state. We can add it in, but if the buyer chooses to cover the fees, those are also taxable and it becomes hard to compute into the purchase price.

Just wondering how many requests does it take for something to get considered to be added? I believe I see that there have been 95 requests for the sales tax feature...are we getting close? Or will this be a while yet?

We cannot have our auction on this platform until sales tax is an added option. We would lose too much in our $1,000,000 auction if we have to pay it ourselves. That would be $92,500 we have to cover ourselves.

This is a huge issue and makes us have to eat 7.25% of all ticket sales now because this cannot be added on. This is considerably more than the fees that Givebutter does not charge us on these tickets for events.

We need sales tax to be calculated and charge after an auction closes. We are auctioning off items for a non-profit thrift store, and we are losing a lot of money because we have to pay the taxes on every winning bid.
