This feature is complete!
You can now easily manage categories and fine-tune the order of items to create a better browsing experience for bidders.
How it works:
- Navigate to the Items table
- Select Actions → Manage categories and items
- From here, you can: Create, edit, and reorder categories using drag and drop
- Click into a category to view all items within it
- Set item order: Manually, A–Z, Z–A
- Reassign items to a different category

Related, but slightly different: would like to be able to set default filter. I want users to see a particular filtered view (e.g. "View all items") upon landing at the Auction page, then they can change filters as they want from there.

Glad to see this is finally "In Progress" once again! Until something is implemented, here's how we worked around it. We started each item name with a number (001, 002, 101, 102, 202, etc.). That way we could easily edit the item name to reorder items instead of deleting and re-adding them. I'd recommend leaving some gaps in your numbering too to insert items you may receive later. It worked ok for us, but still a smoother way to re-order would be great.
