Guest don't want to do 2 steps - buy tickets and then register. One step is essential.

Do you have a timeline for this feature? We're already set to use GiveButter for our gala on November 14 but this is proving to be a big problem and we won't be able to use GiveButter going forward if it isn't.

Tracy Barreiro Bumping this comment, my board is ready to walk away from this platform if this isn't resolved by next year. :/ I love using Givebutter but this is the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.

Hi everyone! What are you work-arounds to the manual process? We have a silent auction later this month with bidders who aren't tech savvy or don't want to give personal information.

Yes, please! Also be able to edit the bidder number :)
Elaine Makikalli
Melissa McWilliams: Hi there, the ability to edit bidder numbers is currently possible!
This is available in the bidders table under the auction tab. Click on the three-dot icon and select the option from the dropdown menu.
Thank you for supporting this feature that is in progress!

Elaine Makikalli Ohh this is good news. The chatbot needs to be updated, then.
"Bidder ID numbers are automatically assigned when people register for your auction. These numbers can be useful for paddle bidding and live auctions. While you can't directly edit the bidder numbers, you can use them effectively by assigning your bidders the same paddle number as their bidder ID. This makes entering manual bids smoother and more efficient.
If you need to view or manage bidder information:
Click on your campaign's Auction tab
Select Bidders in the left-hand menu
You'll see a list of bidders with their names, ID numbers, registration dates, and current status

We need this so bad for our October 2024 auction! We are finding that many of our auction ticket holders aren't tech savvy and therefore we need to change to a "manual" way to add/manage bidders on their behalf when they check in.

Yes this would be essential for our team to run an auction on the platform

It is necessary for the admin to be able to manually register a bidder for an on-site auction - say they forgot their phone, or just aren't on line. There is no way they can bid. This feature is needed for our July 29 auction.
