Yes, we assign our own numbers to items and this causes a headache at checkout when we have to cross-reference two different sets of item numbers. We need to be able to set our own item numbers in Givebutter to eliminate the confusion at check-out.

Yes, allow us to input a starting number. The seemingly random six digit ones (though I'm certain they are unique) are confusing to some of us. Much more helpful to let us start at, for example, 1, and increment automatically from there. Additionally, as we have only a couple hundred items, writing six-digit numbers on tags is unnecessary work.
