Would be useful to provide donors further instructions that are more than 255 characters.

S R: I completely agree that adding the extra characters would be helpful.
We'd like to use these custom questions for consent statements. It'd be nice to be able to put the entire statement in one question rather than having to split it into multiple questions. Or, as you mentioned in another comment, having more formatting options like linking to the statements if the max. number of characters cannot be increased.

Would allow users to explain the additional fields with descriptors of the information being requested. THANKS!!!!
