Ability to embed the a fundraising goal thermometer on your own website. If this is something you're interested in, we'd love to hear your use cases below.

Also, in the meantime (and in the lead up to Giving Tuesday), is there such a thing as a non-embeded fundraising goal thermometer available via Givebutter?
Liran Cohen
@Jason Yung: Hey Jason! Thanks for the feedback. There is already a goal bar you can activate on your campaign by setting a goal in your Dashboard under the Details tab.

We too would love to have this ability!! 👏🏻👏🏻

Yes please! I believe this can happen with MobileCause although I only used it for one campaign so I may be blurry on the details!

Progress bar widgets

It'd be great to be able to have access to % progress bars in an iframe or an image, so you can show progress on your own website before clicking a donate button and going to the new site.
Without this, donors have to go to the fundraising page to understand the state of the donation.
In our case, we have a few large events we want to put on, and we would like to share with donors on the website where funding is for every category for those events.
For example:
Benefit Event 1 [===. ]
>>> Sound recording [======]
>>> Staffing [==. ]
>>> Venue [==== ]
Benefit Event 2 [======= ]
>>> Sound recording [====. ]
>>> Staffing [======= ]
>>> Venue [==== ]
If there was a way to get a % image for either a single fundraiser or a group of fundraisers, which we can then style on our website and link to appropriate donation pages.

Absolutely, having the thermometer available for donors and supporters to share on their social media, or on our own website would be a huge benefit.

We would love this as well! Having a tracking goal is something we really would like to utilize for our virtual events that doesn't require our donors to go to the giving page. Something easily visual right on the event page would be helpful.

Yes, please! This is the key element that our Executive Director is looking for as we decide which fundraising platform to use.

Yes please - this is incredibly critical for virtual events. The fact that there isn't a standalone thermometer that I can park on a blank website means I can't use the thermometer as part of a livestream itself as a graphic. This is basically the reason that I can't use give butter with more client virtual events - our methodology makes constant use of visual references to the goal and it needs to be able to be embedded outside of the campaign page context to do that cleanly.

Yes!! Most of what we share with our people is driving people to our website. The ability to post this on our homepage or event page to connect people with the GiveButter platform or opportunity to give is CRITICAL. It's something we tried with GiveLively when we used their platform, but essentially I managed to embed the giving thermometer live update page (https://www.givelively.org/live-display) through use of an iframe. It was highly effective. Live update page and embeddable thermometer would both be helpful!
